Auspost Postage Requirements
The introduction of new sending requirements for parcels delivered within Australia and to Parcel Lockers has commenced as of July 1st 2026. By providing recipient contact details, Auspost can contact your customers with important details needed to collect their parcels from a variety of collection points. Customers will be required to provide a valid email address or Australian mobile phone number for a parcel’s recipient when sending within Australia. UPDATE: Auspost are deferring the introduction of these new measures until 2027 to allow more time for all businesses to prepare.
